R*** started with The Playroom Marple in September 2022 (17 months at the time) before this she was at a private nursery setting. The reason I moved her was purely down to a personal recommendation from a close friend. My older child had grown up with my friends little girl who attended The Playroom and I was always hearing about ‘Lucy’s’. Even though my other child enjoyed his nursery experience I couldn’t help but compare the experiences they were receiving. As my older child was approaching school age I took the plunge and got in touch with Lucy to move my little girl and never looked back. From the moment I met Lucy I just knew it was the right move! From the setting, to the tailored activities to the homely feel when I stepped through the door I just knew the environment would have a positive effect. R*** is two now and is thriving, she has the most adorable relationships with all the girls who work there but most importantly I really get the sense they are cared for. She is made to feel like one of the family and it’s so lovely to see. Developmental wise she is doing amazing, I can’t get over how independent she is! You can really tell that all the girls take the time to spend with her to help her learn. I caught her cutting up her food the other day with a knife!! She is such a chatterbox too and is always singing. All of the activities she gets involved with are amazing and I look forward to seeing the pictures everyday of what she gets up to. They have really got to know R*** and her personality and she honestly always has a smile on her face with them. The friendships she’s making with the other children as well is so lovely to see and I really like the fact she’s surrounded by a mix of ages from younger babies to preschool children. Working full time knowing she’s in good hands is really so reassuring. Even when she isn’t feeling great or poorly they are brilliant, it’s so hard trying to balance work and kids but they go out of their way to look after her in the best way possible. I am honestly so happy she is going to spend her early years at The Playroom Marple and make all the best memories and I just know it will stand her in good stead for when she starts school! I couldn’t recommend The Playroom Marple enough, 10/10!!!!!

The Playroom really is a truly special place to be for little ones. My daughter started there when she was 10 months old and since her first day, it has been her home from home. Lucy and all the staff at The Playroom are exceptional. They always go above and beyond to care for my daughter, as well as teach her lifelong skills in such a fun and creative way. As an Early Years practitioner, I continue to be inspired by the innovative ways the children learn through a wide range of playful activities and experiences. I often look at what our daughter has been doing and wish I could be there myself! I could not wish for a better setting for my child to be and I know that The Playroom are offering her the best start in her early years. Thank you to Lucy and the team

I moved my son to the Playroom Marple after not feeling settled with another setting. We have never looked back since doing so. All the staff are always so welcoming and friendly at the door and I feel so assured he is in safe hands from the moment that I head to work.
The activities which are set up for pupils on a daily basis clearly have great impact as on our walk home each day my son tells me everything he has taken part in. Communication with ourselves is also excellent with high quality pictures and comments being uploaded to baby days everyday.
What I really feel sets the playroom apart is the knowledge which all staff have about my child and his personality. They know exactly who is he, his interests and qwerks and clearly have a great relationship with the children as my son talks non stop about the staff by name whenever he is not there.
I cannot speak highly enough about the playroom and am so greatful that we found this nursery.
